I am so happy every time I see the bottom of this hoof.
And this would be the right hoof.
First off, I don’t think it is a suspensory, but rather just a bonk from the fence or his other hoof, or god only knows what. I put the surpass on and it took every subcutaneous drop of fluid out of his legs I attempted the pinch test and there was no reaction, I had Amanda look at him and she was pinching him really hard and he was reacting. But he was reacting the same on the other front foot. I think he is fine and I think Amanda might be leaning that way but we made the decision to rest him until Wednesday.
So, no sign of WLD at our farrier appointment today, Trey said that his feet look awesome. I am crediting him not having stall mats in his stall. He’s also grown out his hoof by about 1.5 inches in the front and a bit more in the back. There is plenty of sole depth protecting the coffin bone,
I'm glad that he looks like he's going to be okay.
