When I got to the barn tonight they had just dumped the wet feed into Ashke's bucket. I decided to pass on riding him and instead I groomed him while he ate, then picked his stall. I am happy to report that he was not shivering tonight (it had warmed up) and was in great spirits. I decided to let him run in the outdoor, since there was a bunch of people riding in the indoor.
It was dusk and getting colder.
He was snorty and bouncy, kind of like Tigger.
He was pining for Cali.
He had a huge floaty trot across the arena.
I hate winter mostly because he's no longer white.
He is so athletic! And I'm glad he's been able to stay warm after the one night. As to not being white anymore in the winter...you took some really wonderful videos of him and Cali running around the outdoor where he totally blended into the snow in the background! :)
