I absolutely love this barn.
This is the outdoor arena. Ashke has been so full of energy the past two days that he has be almost uncontrollable. Almost. Reminds me of a toddler hyped up on Sweetarts and Mountain Dew.
He is looking so amazing. His body condition score is about 5.5. I can feel his ribs, but they have padding over them.
The indoor with the door open. There was a potluck for the boarders at 1 pm, so after the ride we got to eat food and hang out with the cool people there. The food was really great too.

Sweat marks on the right side.
From the top. The sweat marks are amazingly symmetrical. There is one spot that I wish I could fix, but it is pretty small overall.

That arena looks beautiful and I am sucker for a red barn. I'm glad you were able to get in to a barn you love.

ReplyDeleteI have never seen him happier. He looks the best he has looked and seem really content with this place. Plus, he loves the BO and she really likes him.
DeleteLooking at those photos of how perfectly symmetrical the sweat marks are on Ashke's back, I would be reluctant to do anything to the saddle at this point, especially given how resistant Ashke was to the foam insert. The beauty of the Alta's flex tree is that it flexes both lengthwise and width-wise: it is completely different in motion than when the horse is at a standstill. Having developed muscle so evenly and being so happy in work, I wouldn't change a thing! :) So there's one problem solved! ;)
