Hey blog land, we need some help. One of my favorite bloggers and a woman who has come to mean the world to me had a bad accident with her horse, Lily. Lily ripped the top rail off of a hitching post and managed to stick the four inch nail at one end into her left hind leg, gouging a huge hole and breaking her splint bone. Surgery ensued and now Lily is home and recuperating. Saiph has insurance on Lily, which covered the surgery, hospital stay and subsequent treatments, but doesn't cover the vet calls at her home barn or extraneous items like bandages and stall rest. Saiph and her husband are doing every thing they can to make up the extra cost, which is now $1200+, but like a lot of us, they are on a shoe string budget and this could set them back a lot. Saiph is committed to doing the right thing for Lily: she is working at the barn to help off set the extra cost of stall board and her husband is working all of the overtime he can get, but they could still use our help.

Third - Buy a bridle charm from me. These are Spirit Stones.

The bridle charms I have created are made using a fishing spinner (very tough and will not open by accident) and are strung on fishing line. They are made using semi-precious stones of various colors. My grandfather was a Rock Hound and I grew up hunting for rocks out in the world. The idea of a bridle charm made with semi-precious stones was very appealing, and so I set out to create an unique offering. For me personally, I believe that stones have attributes or carry energy which can effect our energy with positive outcomes. (This is obviously, just my opinion and is not based on any type of science.)

My bridle charms are being offered for sale for the first time to support Nicole and help pay for Lily's recovery. They are a flat $15 each. For every one I sell between now July 31, I will donate $10 to help with Lily's recovery. 

This is a bridle charm that has a silver pendant that says "Love". The semi-precious stones are Amazonite, Malachite, Lapis Lazuli and Hematite. They are silver and green beads used between stones.

Amazonite = Communication

Malachite = Heart-healing, Confidence

Lapis Lazuli = Spiritual Connection, Harmony

Hematite = Grounding, Focus, Inspiration

The charm says "True Love". It is made with Amazonite, Hematite and Snowflake Obsidian. Silver and green beads are used between the stones.
