Very pregnant goat
Ashke loved her.
The goat loved Ashke as well.
Tonight was our first ride at the new place. The footing was fantastic. Ashke was snorty and spooky. Our trot was lofty and huge. Our first canter was pogo stick and sideways.
It was fun.
It was also one of the best indoor rides we've had in over a year. Rode for almost an hour. Worked on cantering. To the left was smooth and relaxed. Haven't quite gotten there to the right, yet. Worked on stopping off my seat at both the trot and the canter. Almost got a sliding stop. Probably would have been a sliding stop had I had a better position than laying across his neck. He loves the barley fodder and the grass hay here looks fabulous. I can see muscle on his neck and shoulder I swear wasn't there a week ago.
Overall, a very good ride.
