Terry - she's boxer and malinios (short-hair Belgium Shepard) and about 24" at the shoulder. She weighs in at about 65 lbs of pure muscle. And we discovered tonight, they will kill anyone dressed as a werewolf that tries to come in the house. :)
They are fierce dogs, to be sure, and super protective of our household. I just wish they had been properly socialized when they were little. When we took them home at 10 weeks, they had never been outside of the house they were born in. They are very timid and easily scared, which has been challenging. Saiph (Wait for the Jump) has given me some great suggestions for working with Lily, which have helped reduce her anxiety and fearfulness. We would have loved to take them through agility training and J is absolutely convinced that Skittle would be fabulous at flyball, but we have to get them relatively calm in public first.
