Face Fighting under the fence. Caught it on the bottom edge of the wire fencing material.
Three inches by 1/4" deep.
Drugged, numbed and shaved. Good Boy!!
Stitched closed. Patient was resting quietly when I left. Barn crew was working on a fix to prevent it from happening again.

ReplyDeleteHope it heals quickly. Once it's scabbed over, I recommend putting MTG on it to prevent scarring and to help the hair grow back. :) I used it on Red when he got a huge hoof gash on his back from playing and it didn't scar at all, totally love MTG! :)
