Alpha and Omega

Last thing last night. It was supposed to rain today, which it kind of did on and off all day.

Beach art someone kindly left for you. T wanted to stomp it, but I stopped him. Boys!

It seemed to be very grey where we were all day. Periods of limited rain. We played tourist at Depoe Bay.

T. Being Cool. A moment of sun.

You'd think with clouds like this, the wind would be blowing. Nope. Not enough to fly our kites.

This is the D river, emptying into the ocean. The D river is only about 150 feet long. It flows from Devil's Lake to the ocean.

This is the spot I christened the Alpha and Omega. I waded out into the channel cut by the D river, then stood there as the tide washed in, swirling around my legs. I was at the very end of the river (omega) and the very beginning of the ocean (alpha). I'm pretty sure if I had stood there for very long my head would have erupted from all the ending and beginning energy going on there. It was very intense. It was so powerful, I did it twice.

God-daughter dressed in an outfit that we could have used to flag down ships, picking rocks out of the sand to eat. Or at least lick. Salt and sand has to be the best.

Us, in the sun.

What we've been doing.

The picture I got from the trainer . . . . what Ashke has been doing.

    1. I can't wait to see him . . . the ocean would be better with him here. The trainer says he has been doing very well. Two more days and I will be at the barn again.
