We did get to ride in the snow after all and I was thinking of you. I hope you got to rest and recover.

I used Epona shoes on Lily while transitioning her to real winters on frozen clay from FL's sandy footing. The Easyboot shoes are exactly like the Eponas. I had my farrier glue them on. It was slightly more costly, but I didn't have to deal with nail holes weakening Lily's hoof walls. She did great in them - she grew tons of sole in response to the overall hoof stimulating effect of the shoes. The drawback was that they were very pricey - I only did front shoes, and only for a period of 3 months, because I just could not afford to do them long term. (2 Eponas glued on was the price of 3 Renegade boots.) I would use them again if I needed to. Hopefully the Easyboot shoes are more affordable! I'm excited to see how they work out for you and Ashke!Nicole Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09817619834026667737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7657955103086716631.post-15359557284731417642014-02-09T06:25:57.972-07:002014-02-09T06:25:57.972-07:00I use dlvr.it to post to FB from here...it's b...I use dlvr.it to post to FB from here...it's been super useful so far!

Being sick sucks...coming off of a stomach bug -- cold virus -- another stomach bug triple whammy myself.
